TAMPA ,Fla. — “I’m feeling a positive vibe,” Carol Mitsch, a semi-retired business owner from nearby Utz, said Tuesday evening as she entered what she hopes will be Mitt Romney’s victory party.
“I was very disappointed last time, in ’08,” Mitsch said, clutching a pair of red foam baseball-glove shaped mitts she planned to wave throughout the evening.
She said she likes the new, more aggressive Romney that emerged in Florida as he fought back against his chief rival, former U.S. House speaker Newt Gingrich.
“It’s not typically his style,” Mitsch said. “I think his niceness put him in the losing column last time.”
